An Amazing Thriller Performance

This is way too good not to post! More than 1500 inmates of the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center in the Philippines all dance to the tune of Thriller.

Guess the Nationality!

UPDATE: *percussion* And now … the moment you’ve all been waiting for … (I’ve always wanted to say that) the correct nationalities have been posted! 

One thing I love about Dubai is its multi-ethnic environment. In August 2006, the number of nationalities in Dubai exceeded 200, and that’s like a year ago, so I’m positive the number is higher now, although I couldn’t find any reliable source for that.

But still, 202 nationalities in one city IS A LOT, MAN! I never even knew there were more than 200 countries around the world, but then again, I’m geographically-challenged.

Winning the Lottery!

Last week I got a call at approximately 10:30 am. ’No number’ appeared on the screen. Expecting it to be one of my friends form the States or Europe, I picked up and the sweet feminine voice on the other end of the line, who was trying so hard to fake an American accent, started the conversation by congratulating me for winning $ 72,000 in a lottery!
